1. America is occupied . . . by the One Percent through the use of police power
Edited on Tue Nov-22-11 08:26 AM by leveymg
The 1% control every major national political institution, the banks and multinational corporations, the military, the police, and the secret police. They pretend to lead a democratic society, but everyone (except the 1%) are spied upon and severely punished when they dare to speak up or break the rules put in place to maintain the power and ill-gotten gains of the 1%. The system exists solely to perpetuate its own inequality and injustice.

This is no longer a nation of laws. The 1% rarely, if ever, are held accountable for major frauds and mass murder, and behave as if they have no rules. The illusion of democracy has become a fraud, a visible illusion stripped of its charm.

Power in America no longer even pretends to derive from the consent of the majority; not any more, it doesn't - in the 21st Century, the United States has, indeed, decayed into a dying empire and a police state.
