11. PETA does support euthanasia as the compassionate option....
of course this is true, PETA does support euthanasia of unwanted and suffering animals as a 'necessary evil' to end suffering of unwanted/suffering animals. That is the only rational stance. PETA has come out against many, many "no kill" shelters since they either have to be highly selective as to which animals to admit and/or the living conditions of the animals are horrendous in that theyt are left to spend their lives in cages, often neglected. The fact is is that there are so many unwanted animals out there that euthanasia is the only reasonable option.

Now for the Center for Consumer Freedom to try and call PETA out on this "hypocrisy" is very stupid since there is no hypocrisy in using euthanasia to end animal suffering, if it is done humanely and painlessly.
