recently started tutoring. He somehow reached the 9th grade in school without having learned how to read, although he was involved with drugs for many years and that might have had an effect on his ability to remember what he learned in earlier years. He is 30 yrs. old with 3 children. This is such an uphill climb for him and I am praying that he will stick with it. He has been mandated by the courts to enroll in an educational program and get his GED. Otherwise, I think he will have to serve time.
