and falling for bullshit. If I can inform myself on the issues, I expect anyone else can, too. That said, I do blame the media, specifically talk radio in our area, for perpetuating lies all day long. I also blame our local Dem establishment for taking voters for granted and not doing anything to show them that their vote is deserved. I blame Coakley for pretty much the same thing.

You're right. Our elected officials must get back to the basics and realize who they are, who elected them, and why. Brown was able to fool the voters into thinking he was that kind of guy. Our side has to BE that kind of guy or woman.
