1. Well, let's give the benefit of the doubt to Bertie & Co.
If the Gardai,PSNI or the Independent Monitoring Commission have "independent evidence to back up its claim" per Michael McDowell, why not have a criminal trial in the open and let the people in the Republic, Northern Ireland and the rest of the world what it is?

BTW, who exactly is on the "Independent Monitoring Commission"? Any links where I could find out.
