Can I ask a simple question??

How did TUCKER get this gig???

What's next? Tweety doing the play-by-play on curling? Rita Cosby covering the hockey? (Rita: "Oh GREAT! They say I'm supposed to take care of the hockey!!!... :-( Oh, shoot! They just explained to me, they meant 'report on the games,' not 'do the players!'")

I guess I just don't get how they make decisions at MSNBC. Here they sit, with an experienced sportscaster on their staff, and their first thought when they need someone to host an Olympics wrapup show is..."Hey! I know! Let's have TUCKER CARLSON do it!"

Okay. I am now seeing a new commercial for The Abrams Report that looks similar to the new one Tweety did for Hardball. If I don't see a parallel one for Keith soon, I am going to scream. (And no, those "funny ads" comparing Countdown to The Daily Show are NOT what I mean.)

Oh, and while we're at it, what the hell happened to Keith's antismoking message? I saw it exactly ONCE--WHEN HE DEBUTED IT ON COUNTDOWN! Has anyone seen it since?

:grr:
