Is anyone here doing the South Beach Diet? I've been on it for a little over two weeks now and I'm having a love/hate relationship with it, so far.
On the positive side:
I haven't had any cravings, my energy level seems more even, I'm definitely losing weight, I like the food and like eating this way.
On the negative side:
It's ridiculously expensive. I've spent over $700.00 on food SO FAR this month for just my husband and myself. I get most of my meat for free so I usually don't spend that much in a month. It also has seemed to be very time consuming. It takes me a lot longer to pack my husband's lunch, longer to cook dinner and I have a lot more dirty dishes than I did before. It's weird because I really wasn't eating that many convenience foods before and I can't quite put my finger on why it's costing me so much more in money and time.
Anyone have any advice or tips or experiences to share?
