I don't have a whole lot to lose but I really needed to change my eating habits, especially in regards to sugar. I want to keep eating this way because there is a history of high cholesterol, heart disease, strokes and diabetes in my family and my cholesterol was starting to get a little high. It has been a little frustrating though, because of the time and money. I think it will get better as I get stocked up on some of these sugar-free and whole wheat foods.

I usually only shop about every two weeks, too, but not on this diet! I wish I had a farmer's market nearby for produce so I could just go there and pick up my veggies without buying out the whole damn organic foods aisle at the grocery store. lol
