3. I started one non-descript day with a 15 minute walk. A slow one.
I was so self-conscious that I put on a ballcap and pulled the bill down low. I walked straight out the door and walked for 7 or so minutes and walked back. 15 minutes.

I did this 15 minute walk just a few times per week. No big plans, no lofty goals. I let my body, and how I felt, be the guide and I continued to walk. Sometimes I would walk in the mall. Ballcap on, bill pulled low. Head down, I looked at my watch and did a moderate paced 15 minute walk.

It did have the effect of increasing my energy slightly so I kept it up. I told myself that with every step I was getting that much healthier, but I didn't want to overdo it and screw up my knees or ankles or something.

You'll feel like increasing the amount of time you walk over time, probably, but just go by how your body feels.

Also I agree with those above in this thread who've said to talk to your doc about your meds.

Good luck. :hi:
