The locals just think good ole boy Denny is being made into a scapegoat by the bad Dems. All of them, ALL of them said that he would never have sat on the scandal, that he would have been all over this if he knew the truth, and that his aides are the bad boys in this - their screening of the info about Foley is the problem.

This is a very RED district. And Denny has played his persona, local high school wrestling coach goes to Washington, to the hilt. People buy his shit out here and look the other way when it comes to his blatant criminal actions.

His LOWEST election year win was 64% guys. They love him here and unless he himself is found in bed with those teens, he'll win here.

John Laesch however will make a dent. He's a good candidate that's finally getting some air time. In this district, it will be a good thing that a Dem voice is even getting heard, even if they won't vote for him. That's at least one step in the right direction.....
