Good training, but I would have severe second thoughts about enlisting under the current mis-administration.

Air Force seemed like the best choice at the time - in the Army, you get shot at and most of the officers tend to stay behind the lines. In the Air Force, the enlisted tend to stay behind the lines and fix the airplanes, and we sent the officers up to get shot at. It just seemed like a MUCH better way of doing things, to an enlisted person.
