7. We can be without a VP. We have been before.
Bush's choice would require congressional approval. We wouldn't give him approval. Just keep the office vacant.

Of course, it's just a fantasy. But it entertains me.

A republican acquaintance said recently that North Carolina had altered it's law so that W could become their governor. I said that would be a pretty hard job for him to do from prison, and the republican BLEW UP. They're really afraid of it, I think. Deep down, they know it's where he belongs.
