that you felt you could make guarantees on behalf of your chosen candidate. All of our candidates are humans and when and if we place them on some lofty level of perfection we are bound to be ultimatley disappointed.

Our thread started out to be about front runners early in the primaries and my reply to you about McCain wasn't meant to imply that the situation was analgous to what Sen. Clinton might or might not do in the future, it was simply about bush and McCain.

And thank you for pointing out that Tester jumped on that unfortunate bandwagon to bash a fellow Democrat because the Repos said jump and unfortunately some Dems replied "How High" on the way up. I will write him a letter about it. I must have missed it in the regular news cycle but I just googled it and yes, that was inappropriate especially coming from someone who themselves did not serve in the military, and from someone who should know better. I know Tester eeked out a win against an incumbant Senator who outspent him almost 2 to 1, but I still feel that doesn't completely absolve him of making the Repos case for them. I don't believe it helped him win.
