It's "you vs. us" gang-up rhetoric. Demeaning any vocabulary beyond 3rd grade. Infers that the messenger's sole purpose is to "impress" the reader, not communicate - thus assuming an elevated/superior position (i.e. patronizing and pedantic). Totally fails to address the content of the post and sneers at the messenger like a vandal sneers at sculpture.

(Sadly, we see similar posts on DU.)
