who tallied 17 saves in 1980, breaking Joe Black's 1952 club rookie record for saves. The first-year also notched seven wins with a 2.65 ERA, and was awarded Rookie of the Year honors at the close of the season, beating out Bill Gullickson of the Expos.
Yeah, he had his demons but who doesn't. Thanks Steve for the memories.
