19. Slow Wheels...Note To The Impeach Crowd
It's a shame it took nearly 4 years for this case to have gotten to this point...and there's sure to be appeals and other tactics to keep these fat cat's bacon out of the slammer for as long as possible. Also, we'll never know how much of the money they abscounded has been socked away that can never be recovered. But at least the justice system proved again how a jury of 12 ordinary citizens hold far greater wisdom than all the telepundits and "legal anal-ists".

The length of this process is what we should expect in any investigation into this regime...and should it occur, patience could turn into justice deserved and served. The Libby trial is still over 7 months from getting rolling...and then it could either be postponed again or dragged on for month. I'm still betting somewhere the wall of "executive privilidge" will be hit that will require a seperate court case that would delay the trial while the side issues ended up in the Supreme Court. Still...the overwhelming evidence piling up on the corruption and overt criminality of this regime will be found and, in time, people will be made to pay for their crimes.
