the public as fundamental constitutional values, Alito's nomination would be inconceivable. He is an unconscionable, politically-motivated-result-oriented judicial whore with no respect for precedent. An I the only one who shrieks whenever some describes him as a "conservative activist"? IF WORDS HAVE MEANING, THERE CAN BE NO SUCH THING AS A "CONSERVATIVE ACTIVIST" BECAUSE "CONSERVATIVE" AND "ACTIVIST" HAVE IRRECONCILABLE DEFINITIONS! You can be a right-wing activist or a reactionary activist but the act of activism is inherently anti-conservative so there cannot be any such thing as a conservative activist.

It's a shame that Roe v. Wade is the only issue the MSM will cover because Alito and Roberts interpret the decision as allowing so many restrictions as to virtually nullify the rights enshrined in the decision but they won't likely overrule the decision because they won't need to.
