There is the small matter of the gigantic U.S. embassy built in the heavily fortified green zone in Baghdad. We've spent a lot of money to build and maintain it, fill it will U.S. officials, erected Wendy's and McDonald's and movie theaters, we can't just leave all that behind for the crazy Iraqis to take over, can we?

Aren't we also building dozens of military bases hither and yon across the landscape? What about all those, will be just abandon them too? What about all of our oil under Iraqi soil?

While America begs bush pretty please to end the war and madness, president cheney is still settling in for the long haul. We've gone all schizophrenic in regard to how to escape Iraq, we want to, the soldiers want to, the Iraqis want us to, but the people 'in charge' don't really want to escape Iraq.

Americans still don't realize that WE are in charge, not bush and cheney and the gang. This republican neo con aggression will not stand.
