They don't have a shred of evidence, but their demonization of the Clintons and their hate are such that it enables that kind of paranoid and delusional thinking. They'll you a milllion reasons why dems are evil. You can't really argue with those folks, because they're faith based. And so are some of you here. I already know all the arguments forthcoming.
The odds are remarkably slim that Senator Johnson was poisoned by the neocons or whoever. Democratic Senators are not the only ones who get ill. Larry Craig has Leukemia. Arlen Spector also had Leukemia. John Heinz died in office. So Did Paul Coverdale (sp?).a


It is not unusual for men Senator Johnson's age to have health problems-even health emergencies that come on suddenly. I hope he recovers, even more for his family and himself than for the balance in the Senate.

There's something so atavistic about this conspiracy about Johnson; it's magical thinking: It's sad, and it's lacking in grace. Sometimes, bad things happen without human agency. Sometimes you don't get to have a guy in a black hat to blame. Sometimes life just sucks, and it's nobody's fault.
