You don't score a slot in ICU unless you're "in danger" of dying at any moment lest you be monitored 24/7. Once discharged a patient can recover quickly. HOWEVER, every patient in ICU is GRAVE while they are in THAT unit. That's a fact!

were woried about his heart, they'd put him into CCU (Cardiac Care Unit).

Nope, ICU is for people who are at risk for dying at any given moment - thus the assignment of one nurse and mutiple monitors 24/7.
