26. Which one?

My favorite absurdity is any contradiction between real events and the shit they make up. Welfare Queens, liberal bias in the colleges, media, and under their beds at night, homosexual agendas, reverse discrimination, trickle-down economics, free markets, flying spaghetti monsters, abortion on demand, privatized efficiency, competitive utopias etc. Take your pick.

All of them are mystifications designed to create that slight brush of the shoulder that allows republicans to pick their pockets, even while forcing them to apologize for bumping into the theif. "Excuse me...Hey come back here you stole my wallet?" it's a seamless web of lies that their loyal subjects believe in unquestioningly.

On edit: if you add the fact that while picking the pockets of their loyal subjects the republicans whisper lovingly in their ears "watch out for tax and spend democrats who want to take your guns away" you've seen how Machiavelli steals their freedom away and makes them love it. <then turns quickly and run for the door, straight to a lobbying firm/think-tank>
