18. In all my years, one woman.
I'm almost 56, I've done office work all my life and I've known a great many women, only one of which had used abortion as birth control. She did not use it as her PRIMARY method, but she was very fertile, and even the Pill wasn't very effective for her. She told me once she had had several early term abortions (well within the first trimester).

She eventually found a method that worked for her (the patch, maybe?); either that or she was so scarred up that the embryos didn't implant any more.

That's one woman out of many and, in her case, I honestly don't have a problem with it. The only problem I have with using early term abortion as a method of birth control is that it's an invasive procedure, can easily lead to infection (even when done properly) and scarring and can be dangerous to the mother.

I'm chlldless; I'm not a virgin. Am I to be accused of murder because none of my possible pregnancies "took"?
