Celebrities have been known to donate their face to things they consider a worthy cause. Is Montel? Well, he has for other things, so maybe this one, too. I don't know, and apparently you don't either.

I am not a Montel fan. His continuing support of Sylvia Brown is a decided negative, and I'm not big on celebs threatening small town reporters, either. On the other hand, he is very open with his own use of medical marijuana, and is a well known advocate of its legalization. That is hardly in keeping with the Big Pharma playbook. So, unless you have some real evidence aside from your cynicism, I'll give him a pass on his motivation for having the audacity to publicize a free/discounted medication program. I can dislike the other stuff without having to think the worst of him in every situation. And I applaud him for refusing to gossip about a dead actor and demanding that a news program actually talk about the news.
