"Kids, I'm the President. I wanted to spend the morning with you, but I have to take care of some important business. Have a good day, study hard and stay in school."

If this was an honest incident, anyone could have come up with that.

Card tried to create a lot of cover for everyone else and no one there questioned him. Failure of the press to criticize this situation is a demonstration of complicity in the cover up, as far as I'm concerned.
