2. Here is the plan ...

The plan in the Senate is to disallow ANY vote that does not indict a Democrat in some way. I hear the president pleading to "end partisan politics" and in the Senate, the Republicans will not allow an up or down vote on ANYTHING.

Some deal will have to be struck or there will be COMPLETE deadlock in the Senate for two years. In which case Democrats should just keep pushing up their issues and let Republicans filibuster. Take it to the next election. Truth be told, Bush would veto pretty much any of this anyways.
