The beltway elite and all those corporate DC lobbyists are shaking in their shoes at the thought of a President John Edwards. I've heard too many people close to the campaigns say so. After 2004 and again now. Truth is, John Edwards would mess up their world. His proposals would tip Washington on it's ear and they know it. And he means it. How many of you have actually gone to his website and read his plans for this country?? John Edwards means business, and he would be an advocate extraordinaire-- he would be a pitbull with jockjaw-- for the People!! THE PEOPLE. It's what we've all been waiting for, begging for, even dying for. Meanwhile, the players in DC want none of that "Of the People, By the People, FOR the freaking PEOPLE shit...." They want us controlled. They want us in the dark, *thinking* we're in control. So they spoon feed us Hillary and Obama, Hillary, Obama, Hillary, Obama, WHEN EDWARDS IS POISED TO WIN IOWA!!! But it's all your choice, folks: Hillary or Obama, Hillary or Obama... Isn't it obvious?? Come on.... I know my friends here at DU are bright enough folks to figure this out.

The corporate MSM owners obviously don't want a President Edwards any more than the lobbyists in DC do, so there you have it. Done deal. They've crowned HRC the nominee already-- I saw it on The Today Show this morning when I was flicking through the channels, don't you know (and I only paused there for the briefest moment to see what mindless pap they're spreading for the day). The MSM says, a la Matt Lauer, the whole freaking election season now is ONLY about who can beat Hillary. Didn't you all know that? And when the hell was it decided that the fucking MEDIA get a say in who our nominee is??? So, what-- now the rest of us are just supposed to stop paying attention, take our marbles and go home because the MEDIA HAS DECIDED WHO OUR NOMINEE IS??? WRONG.

Edwards has laid out his plans months ago, he has set the pace on the issues time and again, he polls better against all the Repugs than either HRC or Obama, he's fought for the little guy all his life, and he just makes so damn much sense! A SURGE for New Orleans??? Hell, yeah!! Stop health care for the president and all of Congress if all Americans don't have health care, too??? Hell, yeah!! AND, HELLO..... HE WANTS TO END ALL COMBAT IN IRAQ!! All the while HRC and Obama vacillate, triangulate, equivocate....

SO WHAT THE HECK ARE WE WAITING FOR?

It is so patently obvious that we are being manipulated by the MSM and John Edwards' message is being shut down. Their palpable FEAR of Edwards is a huge clue, folks. Edwards hits a nerve. That fear is EXACTLY WHY the People in this country need to wake up, smell the coffee, right now, and create a SURGE of their own. For John Edwards.
