You've been throwing around falsification and this quaint notion that "anyone can replicate anything to test for themselves" as if you'd never heard of Thomas Kuhn. Science is not pure: it is subject to the same contaminants of sociology as anything else. From elitism to academic pressure to censorship to rapid paradigm shifts, anyone who has even casually looked at the philosophy or history of science knows damn well that your idol is not golden.

Now, since everyone can test everything for themselves and reassure their solipsistic minds, I'm off to try to solve the flatness problem in the big bang theory by reproducing some inflation models. In my basement, of course.
