Then I spent a couple of months overseas.
The experience was great, but I was surprised that I got homesick for the U.S.
This was 20 years ago. The way things are going here now, I don't know if I'd feel exactly the same if were away.
I do love this country, and want to leave it better not worse than it was. I will stay and fight here no matter how bad it gets.
