The Edwards judgment gap.

Of the 22 senators who reported reading the full NIE, eight are Republicans and 14 are Democrats. All but one Democrat on the 17-person Intelligence Committee in 2002 recalled reading the NIE: Former Sen. John Edwards (D-N.C.) told a campaign-trail audience earlier this month that he had, but later recanted. Edwards voted to authorize war.

Not only does this show lack of judgment, it also shows his lack of curiosity, something we are very familiar with in our current President, If Edwards got the August 6th PDB would he have even read it ?

Edwards sat on the senate intelligence committee and knew Bush wasn't telling the truth, Both Edwards and Durbin knew Bush was lying, both remained silent, but for some reason Edwards still voted for war.

In my eyes, this all shows a lack of judgment when it was needed most.
