1. 4 months ago a beutiful black cat was on my doorstep, crying to get in. We brought
him into our home and rigorously tried to locate his person. He had been in relatively good condition, except for some ticks. He was not feral, and had been neutered. I contacted all surrounding animal control and they listed him with our county shelter. I placed signs up and ran an ad in our Pennysaver. No one ever claimed him. My guess is that he was abandoned. At the time I was searching for his person, I thought a central lost and found database for pets would be a wonderful idea. I'm delighted it was implemented in PA.

Meanwhile, "Jack", is thriving and appears to be very happy here with his new people. Everyone adores him except for my grey cat Amy, but Jack is so good natured and ignores her growls and poorly executed swipes. :)
