Reply #32: I saw the same thing with Kerry events in PA

The first one I attended in Greensburg as Kerry/Edwards fresh off the convention the Secret Service did a great job with a large crowd.

Then I think it was around Sept or Oct I attended one at CMU in Pittsburgh. I'm not sure if they were screening for weapons early, but as it grew apparent they were never going to get all the crowd in in time to hear John Kerry speak they just let us in w/o screening. But by that time there was no way to even get close to the Kerry.

Then back in Greensburg the weekend before the election when Edwards appeared I was just behind the stage where Edwards was speaking. I was not screened. I could've easily had brought in a weapon. And it was scary cause just across the street were the screamie meamies Bushbots.

Secret Service needs to keep their act together and up the detail for the big Obama crowds especially since it is probable he will be the nominee. I don't want to see another RFK.
