She sent it to me to ask if it was true. Here is how I responded to it. Also I sent the email to Snopes. They didn't have this piece of garbage on the site at the time I received it.

No, this email is not true. Obama is not a Muslim, never has been. He has never stated he would be sworn in on anything, but if elected, I’m sure he will be sworn in using the Bible, just as he did when he entered the Senate.
This is one of the ugliest things I’ve seen in a long while. I am no expert on any religious texts, however the idea that any religion would prohibit or inhibit someone from being a good American, is just plain ugly.
I’m sure there are Muslims that would not make good Americans, just as I’m sure there are Protestants, Catholics, Jews, Mormons, Buddhists, Atheists, etc. who are American citizens, but do not make good Americans. The author of this ugly piece comes to mind. They did an excellent job of picking out just what they chose to, in order to make the religion sound bad. I’m quite sure someone could do the same with passages from the Bible.
Whomever wrote this should be ashamed of themselves. No wonder there are so many problems in this world.
