8. Spank us with what?
The US military is what spanks everyone who doesn't listen to the UN. What can the UN possibly do to the US? Sanction us? How many times have economic sanctions(even if it were possible to sanction the US) hurt the people they were intended to hurt?

The US Government does what it wants to do. The US Government won that right internationally when it defeated and outlasted all other centers of power during the 20th century.

"Or is the economic failure and collapse of our country, the pillaging of our own constitution - is that our punishment?"

If/When the US goes down economically, everyone is coming with us. That's why countries like China and Japan have been propping us up. We're all part of the same economic system.

"Please tell me why there is not more pressure from the international community here?"

Again, pressure us with what? Are the Redcoats coming? The Spanish Armada showing up? Why would you want international pressure to save you? If you say this, "Our voices are not being heard, and our representatives are NOT representing us.", why would you want to be even less heard, and less represented, by an even more distant authority?
