There goes the American domination of the world, folks. It's the end. It's finished. It's done.

As a nation, we are about to close the circle and return to the simple life of a people who are not only self-governing, but self-sufficient. In a few years, we will not longer be able to bully the people of the "underdeveloped world" into working as virtual slaves to produce appliances, food, raw materials, etc. so that we can live the good life. Sorry, guys, but this is how history works.

We recently watched an interesting movie entitled "Live-In Maid." It is about the relationship between an Argentinian middle-class divorcee/would-be businesswoman and her maid of 30 years during the economic crisis that occurred in 2001. It is depressing at first, but really worth watching. The story is very timely.
