And your point is?

If you are casting aspersions on the proposed Florida law to prohibit employer searches of employee-owned cars for lawfully possessed firearms locked inside the vehicle in public parking lots, methinks this provides more counterexample than support.

The idea that a person planning a mass murder would be dissuaded by a company policy that says no guns may be stored in locked cars in the parking lot is rather naive...

FWIW, the recent guns-in-cars issue started with Weyerhauser's firing of a bunch of employees who had firearms locked in their cars on the first day of hunting season. Anyone who refused a search of their car, or who had a gun in the car, was fired on the spot. That is just wrong, IMO.
