I actually have an excellent vocabulary, and I love to swear. In fact, I love words in general. I pick the time and place for the way I express myself. Swear words are short cuts in communication especially on the internet, where facial expression and body language can't be seen.

But I take your point, since I used the same argument with my own kids about swearing and tried to teach them to love words. My grandson, who recently said "shit" if front of his mother now knows several alternatives. He thought it was hilarious.
