Man reports being robbed after trying to sell marijuana

A man told Cape Coral police he was robbed this morning of a cell phone and marijuana by a man he arranged to sell the drugs to.

It all started when a passerby reported seeing a man wandering in the intersection of Chiquita Boulevard North and Diplomat Parkway at 4 a.m., according to police reports.

When they got there, police officers said that Justin D. Wilson, 21, told them that Christopher, a man he knows, arranged to buy some marijuana from him at that location, reports state.

Wilson said that when he met the man and another man at the intersection, Christopher told him he owed him money and took the marijuana and his cell phone after a brief scuffle, reports state.

Wilson told officers he did not want to press charges.
