It was cheaper than a new one and I didn't want to deal with learning Vista or finding out it wouldn't like old programs or hardware or whatever I already have.

The XPs were already getting rare then - I'd have to recheck inventory often to see one show up and they'd be snagged fast by others if I hesitated.

on edit - they have a few with XP Home at the moment. By the way, you have to click "filter results" for the search.
