Reply #38: There are tent cities in many cities across the country

I sent the links to the pictures of the Sacramento tent city from the 30s and from this year to my sister. She emailed back and told me there are tent cities in Saint Petersburg and Tampa, Florida. The one in Tampa is near the state fairgrounds but the space is not big enough for the numbers of people and the city is looking for more places that can be used to park the homeless.

And the M$M is almost totally ignoring this growing problem... :cry: :banghead:
