Because the SLC newspaper had a picture of a Big Love character in the ceremony outfit during the show's Temple scene...so the newspaper was forced to pull the picture from their online news site to appease the locals. The picture was with an article about the Temple scene and the ceremony

If you go the Big Love message board over at HBO, there was a couple lengthy threads about the whole thing, some viewers were OK with the show having that scene, others were not.
The Church's website had a message from it's President, basically saying they didn't want to get in the middle of it because it would just increase the show's ratings, etc...
