Not only do those making more not care about the grunts who are rooting for them, but many people who are in the upper income category are happy to pay more as they have more than enough to live on. I know I could care less how much I'm taxed above a certain income level - does it really matter so long as I can live comfortably, have all the toys I could ever need and save for my retirement. Greedy people should be shot in my opinion.
