I have to tell you, that made me feel proud to read those words.

Like you say, nations and people that support, or condone, torture are rotten and evil. So true, and that's exactly why it is so critically important that this precedent of torture be erased. Permanently. We need to find out who was responsible for this blight on the nation's honor and integrity and hold them accountable, whoever they might be. This can not just be dropped and forgotten about.

It was they that did this. Not us. Not America.
