it's a silly pissing match i've no use for. in the thread i mentioned though, i can say that those who were reacting thusly were outnumbered by, i guess you could say, more thoughtful people.

yeah. i honestly don't get it though. dissent is an essential element of the democratic process. i've never been more euphoric following an election than i was when obama was elected, but still, i have been disappointed many times since. it is incumbent upon ME to let my lawmakers, my elected officials, know where i stand on the issues. even at that, they usually do a piss poor job of representing me. maybe what matters to me most isn't even what matters to most americans. still i believe what i do and no longer believe that it's enough for me to just sit back and watch the train roll by. there have been too, too many unrighted wrongs committed.

so, whereabouts? i'm in North Raleigh :)
