He promised to use his bully pulpit -- nothing, although he did use his bully pulpit to put Rick Warren front and center. He did use his bully pulpit to put McClurkin front and center.
Despite his promise, he has shown absolutely no leadership on this issue. He could have at least made a fucking statement yesterday supporting the people who supported him.
What did we get -- a mouthful of horseshit political babble mumbled by his press secretary and only after a question was asked.
He's either a coward -- or he's playing us for fools.
