52. So Then It IS a Great Argument
Because your conditions are ludicrous.

1) There is plenty that Obama could do on his own with no help from Congress. He could suspend the investigation and discharge of gay personnel as approved by the majority of the country. He could speak out favorably on the recent successes in Iowa, Vermont, and Maine. He could condemn the upholding of Prop 8 in CA. He could have the FDA remove the restriction on gay men giving blood, something the Red Cross has been clamoring for for years. And many others as well. Needless to say, he is doing none of these things.

2) Care to elaborate? What am I ignoring? Number of campaign promises made to the GLBT community by Obama that have been kept: 0. I DARE you to find evidence to the contrary.

3) What the fuck does that even MEAN? We're discussing the President of the United States and his cowardly inaction on all things gay related. What does that have to do with grassroots politics?

You know what, don't bother answering. Or do, I don't care. I'm making a mid-year resolution to avoid getting into discussions with privledged Obamabots who try and defend the indefensible, with absolutely no facts to back them up.
