It's actually beside the point.

You've identified problems that ALSO need our attention.

However, we can chew gum and walk at the same time.

I can't help it that 40 million abortions per year is an uncomfortable and inconvenient fact for you.

I can, however, point out the fallacy of your arguments.

Hyperbole is perfectly acceptable, especially when someone, like yourself, reduces and argument to absurd levels.

And you can be upset until your head explodes, but to shunt aside the fact that there are 40 million abortions per year by comparing that number to the world population is ridiculous.

Some would even say insane.
