....... you force people to buy a product with overhead and profit running about 30% of the product's retail price while disallowing them to buy a similar product with no profit motive and lower operating costs in the range of 5% of the product's retail price?

How fucking stupid would that be?

Or how fucking disconnected from real needs of real people would that be?

The followup question, of course, is "Why?"
