...but having him as our leader in the Senate may not go over so well with the public. People will see him as an "D.C. insider" and a "relic of the past." We want present an attractive alternative to Mitch McConnell. Obviously, I'll take Kerry over McConnell any day of the week, but I don't know if the average American would.
