I know of only two posters who have said disparaging things of Gore... not that they hate him. I can live with that. Overall, my sense is that there is a very deep respect for the man here on DU.

And I understand the great impatience and annoyance on the part of DUers committed to other candidates. I imagine that to many of them, the Gore threads represent a lot of undecided voters that could be supporting their candidates. That's ok. If Gore doesn't run, we will disperse and join other campaigns. We are a fairly mild group overall and I expect we will help tone down some of the other threads.

No matter what he decides to do these next coming weeks, he will always have my respect and admiration.
