"it's OK 'cause we saw it comin'" he seems to be saying. Every news article was about the recession (though not all wanted to call it that), and THAT'S his response? A measly tax rebate and keeping the tax cuts for the rich??? How about tax penalties for companies that outsource? How about a real renewable energy project-like the Apollo project that gave us so much pride and hope? How about a public works project like I national high speed mag lev system? How about getting us out of IRAQ? How about making corporations pay their fair share and capping CEO salaries and bonuses? That's just off the top of my head, but I'm sure that their brain trust could come up with something more viable if they actually gave a crap.
